Hey guys. Today i got the news that our animator for the pilot of Freshman Fever is no longer going to be working with us. It is not out of hate, it is not out of bad working conditions, they are okay and safe. They are just dealing with some personal stuff that i will not be making public out of respect for them. So, sadly the pilot will be taking a bit to come out. And our script writers have not been getting back to me. So depending on if they even wanna be apart of the project, the pilot may take even longer. This really sucks since everything seemed to be going great for this show. We have voice actors, we had an animator, we had almost everything, and now it is slowly falling apart. But, i will NOT let that happen. I am going to get this pilot out there. i started crying yesterday. not because i was sad, but because this dream is coming true!!! i still need animators and more voice actors, but already i want to give a huge thank you to my writers and the voice actors on the team. i would also like to say thank you to everyone who wants this show, it means a lot. from how things are looking, the show will probably be out in 2026 but hopefully the first episode will be out by the holidays. thank you all. and if you want to help out with the project just DM me. there is always a spot on the team for you.

YO!!! I'm Kay, the owner of the YouTube channel Kay’s Cottage. Some of you who know me might be wondering, why am I making a cartoon on Newgrounds if I usually create drama videos?

Well, I've wanted to make a show ever since I was 13, and now that dream is finally becoming a reality! I’ve already got a few voice actors on board, but I need your help to bring this project to life.

I’m currently looking for more voice actors and animators. Unfortunately, this is an unpaid project, but you’ll be part of something truly special. Together, we’ll be making history.

The show is a slice-of-life/fantasy coming-of-age series about a boy who’s dragged to a new college by his girlfriend, only to find himself on a journey of self-love and discovering who his real friends are. It’s aimed at a teen audience and will explore real and serious topics like depression, sex, toxic relationships, and more.
